Do you like beer? A fan of music? Of course you are. You’re American aren’t you? Well, the reason I am mentioning these two amazing pastimes is because one my favorite holidays is coming up. That’s right, Labor Day. The day where most of get a well deserved three-day weekend. (sorry retail employees), a day for all of us to break away from the daily grind and for once, enjoy a Monday.
If you had any plans for this Labor Day, go ahead and cancel them because Labor Day 2012 just got a whole lot better. Shipyard Brewery is hosting the first annual Summer Ender Bender at The Inn on Peaks Island from 1-5 on Labor Day September, 3rd. Honestly, how else were you going to spend Labor Day? Cleaning up the house? Flipping a couple of burgers? Come on. This shin dig features live music, lots of beer, a pig roast, and no cover charge. So to recap in a single word: America.
It is events like this one that make most of the world probably hate us. It’s not our fault that awesome people come up with awesome ideas to share with other awesome people. It’s just how it is. So go out and enjoy the awesomeness. You’ve earned it!
