Canadian indie-pop behemoths, Stars, graced our fair city last Thursday in support of their latest album, The North, with a memorable show at Port City Music Hall, which featured something like three encores and an unquantifiable amount of other awesomeness. Openers Diamond Rings delivered a raucous Depeche Mode-inspired set that saw front-man John O’Regan make his way through the crowd in hopes of inciting a dance, dance, revolution, while California Wives indie-rocked the casbah with a set of breathy, textured songs.
