Alright, it’s Tuesday, everyone should be back in the swing of things by now, right? It’s time to lace up those rage shoes and pour yourselves into those Party Pants because this Tuesday is ready to shake it on out! Several different things to check out tonight, so let’s give this Tuesday a look-see, shall we?
Looking to jam out a bit tonight with other local musicians who share a mutual appreciation for acoustic roots and blues? Then head on over to The Dogfish Bar and Grille on Free Street in Portland tonight where an open acoustic roots and blues jam will get underway around 7 o’clock tonight.
If you’re looking to watch rather than participate in playing some roots rock for free this evening, you can head over to Gritty’s in Portland where Travis James Humphreys will be playing a solo set of jams beginning at 10pm tonight. Humphreys has been doing his thing for quite some time and is pretty damn good at it considering he’s opened up for such acts as B.B. King, Ricky Scaggs and Bill Chinnock. He’ll be rocking it out tonight over at Gritty’s on Fore Street in Portland starting at 10 o’clock.
