A while back, I wrote a post about Playing For Change. Well, the day is almost here. This Saturday, September 22nd, music fans and musicians all over the world are coming together with the intention of creating something positive through music. As Maine has so much musical talent, it’s no surprise that the Pine Tree State is involved in this year’s global event. You can see some of your favorite local artists playing around the state to promote peace and raise funds for music education in the lives of young people. “Be in Love” by Portland’s own Dominic and The Lucid is the celebratory song highlighted by The Maine Academy of Modern Music (MAMM) and local musicians and filmmakers on the “Be in Love” | Playing For Change – Playing for Maine video debuting at Asylum on September 22nd (5-8pm).
