Looking for some Portland laughs? Lucky for you Asylum‘s hookin’ it up. And on Thursday, October 18th they’re bringing new improv troupe “The Trend Setters” to their stage. The Trend Setters troupe is made up of local comedians Connor McGrath, B-Rad, Brett Groh, John Scribner, and Bill Gray. And I know what you’re thinking: Aren’t trend setters supposed to be, you know, trendy? Well clearly you’ve never seen Connor McGrath in his fedora.
And now you have. You’re welcome.
UPDATE: They’re actually called the Trend Centers. But Trend Setters works better with the fedora picture so…there’s that.
The Trend CENTERS hit the stage at 8:30 pm, performing as a troupe, as well as doing some stand-up. There is no cover charge.
Don’t want to stop laughing? Alright, well calm down. Comedy at Mathew’s Portland’s Oldest Pub is now going to be a regular thing. Starting on Sunday, October 21st, expect to see comedy once every three weeks on Sunday nights at 7:30pm. The event has been dubbed “Sunday Funnies.”

Drop some knowledge.
