Arborea, the ethereal folk duo from Lewiston, is releasing its fourth album, titled “Red Planet,” on April 26. You can catch them at The Oak and The Ax in Biddeford on Thursday for what will be a serene, stripped-down set with members Buck and Shanti Curran.

Arborea is one of the few Maine folk bands to find an ample following outside of the state, receiving acclaim from NPR, BBC, Boston Globe, and The Wire. Surrounding the fourth album’s release, the band has a large American/European tour planned, hitting most of the East Coast, United Kingdom, and more.
