This year, the Banff Mountain Film Festival arrives in Portland right before Valentine’s Day. This traveling festival stops in roughly 390 different communities in 35 different countries, and there are plenty of awesome films to entice any kind of movie fan.
Solitaire
The Banff tour will be showing a special edit of the short flick Solitaire at State Theatre on Monday, February 13th. This movie is for the snow and mountain lover in all of us, taking you on a journey during winter in the high desert of South America.
Seasons
Or, if you are fond of kayaking then the film Seasons is right up your alley. Add horses, glaciers, more skiing, and rock climbing, and and you will be ready for an adventure of your own after watching this adventure-packed festival.
